For most situations, we no longer recommend tape drives for backups. However, there are some places where tape drives are an efficient and cost-effective backup method. One of our technology experts can help you answer your tape drive question.
It depends on the technology in use and the timeframe you want the file from. For cloud backup solutions from Solution Builders, recovering a file can be as short as 10 minutes.
Generally, yes, technician recovery time is included in most support agreements if all we are doing is restoring a file or two, but the time to rebuild a damaged server is not. For details on this, let us know and we can further clarify your question and give you the correct answer.
Minimum recommended upload speeds (Internet speeds) are generally 3Mb, but can go lower for smaller servers. There is no one perfect answer for this question, so we encourage you to talk with one of our technology backup experts so we can get the right answer for you.
